GP25SV specifications

The MOTOMAN-GP25SV (type YR-1-06VXHSV25-A00) is a 6-axis vertically articulated manipulator with a payload of 25 kg. Its upper arm folds back upward (reverse elbow) and its arms are short, so the U-axis range of motion is very different from the GP25. The controller is the YRC1000, with supplementary instructions for the GP25SV.

  • The mass that can be mounted on the U-arm, together with the wrist load, must be 37 kg or less (for example, with 25 kg on the wrist, up to 12 kg on the U-arm).
  • The S-axis pulse limit (soft limit) parameters are S1CxG800 for the + direction and S1CxG810 for the − direction (instead of S1CxG400 / S1CxG408 on the MH24).

Range of motion

AxisRange of motion
S-axis (turning)−180° to +180°
L-axis (lower arm)−105° to +150°
U-axis (upper arm)−160° to +80°
R-axis (wrist roll)−200° to +200°

T-axis (wrist twist)−455° to +455°
Values not listed

There are two Japanese documents for the GP25SV: a standalone instructions manual and a supplement that lists the differences from the MH24. They give different values for the items below. Because it is not confirmed which is correct, this page does not list them. Ask YASKAWA if you need them.

  • Maximum speed of each axis
  • Allowable moment and allowable inertia of the wrist (R-, B- and T-axes)
  • Approx. mass
  • Mounting method (the instructions say floor, wall, tilt and ceiling; the supplement says floor only)
  • Equivalent continuous sound pressure level (left blank in the supplement)

Controller details such as the power cable, breaker, dimensions and mass are also not listed, because the Japanese supplementary instructions have an unreadable text layer and have not yet been checked visually.
